6th Annual Nottinghamshire Local History and Archaeology Festival

We were delighted to participate in this festival on 20th July.  Our display concentrated on the Roman ‘villa’ site, medieaval pottery finds, and photos from the Saracen’s Head wall paintings project.  

NEW BOOK: “THE HISTORY AND ARCHAEOLOGY OF THE BURGAGE” by Ellis Morgan

Recently published, this book retails at £10.  Written by SCAG member Ellis Morgan, the book brings together the archive research and archaeological fieldwork undertaken by SCAG members between 2013 and 2017.
