Vicars’ Court excavation – final day

Given public health guidelines we have closed our dig in 4 Vicars’ Court for the foreseeable future. We have uncovered what could be wall features from a medieval building, trench one certainly seems to run in line with that found in number 2 last year.

Not a huge amount of finds but some interesting medieval pottery (probably high period) emerging. A lot of washing to be done – in isolation!
