SCAG have been very busy supporting local community events lately.  We participated in  a day of activities for adults in the Minster run by the Education team.  In addition, we are proud to continue our support for their primary school programme and are running another event shortly.

For Heritage Open Day we put on displays at the Saracen’s Head and in the Deean’s Garden.   Visitors were able to learn more about the wall paintings in the Saracen’s Head and about the Roman site that lies underneath and surrounding the Dean’s Garden.  Our thanks to the Heritage Lottery Fund for their support for SCAG work.

On the 5th October we put up a display at Nottingham Univeristy for the East Midlands CBA conference.
