After our mammoth efforts on Tuesday, we begin the day with a clearer trench. It includes a water pipe!

David gives us the plan of action
and we’re away!
David gives us a very useful lesson on trench edges and sections
Liz and Peter set a high standard of trowelling as we start to reveal a new context
Patient trowelling starts to pay dividends.
