A group from SCAG went up the central tower of the Minster yesterday.  Part of the reason was to photograph the stonework and especially the finials atop the tower since there maybe similarities to architectural masonry we are finding in the Dean’s garden.  More news to follow as the group completes its drawings.

Meanwhile the detailed pottery examination and recording of items from the garden continues.
